Received folding bed promptly after ordering. Set up was easy right out of the box and even my son who is 6'3" found it comfortable. I got it to occasionally sleep in front of the woodstove which works well as it is very compact and folds easily to store behind a chair. Be careful when opening the frame for the first time as I was standing too close and my pants leg got caught in the middle hinge bracket and it cut a hole in them the size of a quarter.

Full Size Bi-Fold Futon Sofa Bed - Frame Only Review

This item arrived very promptly, shipping was reasonable, given that it weighs 50 pounds, and it was extremely easy to assemble. One of the pieces did not have wood dowels in it, so my husband had to improvise a bit. If I had been assembling it on my own, I might have run into trouble. Despite this, the instructions were CLEAR and easy to follow--a nice change from most furniture assembly. The frame is very austere, but it was exactly what I was looking for to put in our spare bedroom/office. It's great because it doesn't have arms, so taller people will be able to sleep on it comfortably.

The biggest problem I had was the Amazon recommendation for a mattress. I ordered quickly and did not check that the recommended mattress was also queen size. It was a full. Stupid mistake, I know, but just make sure you quadruple check the mattress size so you don't have to return a giant futon mattress.

Sunbeam MSU7RKS-C000-15A00 Therapeutic Heated Mattress Pad, King Review

This is our third mattress pad in the past five years. The first was OK, but needed to be replaced after four years. The one we purchased last year lost most of it's heating ability in just a few months. The new Sunbeam Therapeutic was comparatively expensive, but worth every penny.

Pros
1. Like our others, it has two sides so we can set our own preferences, but it has separate connections at the bottom of the pad as well. No more large, hard lump in the middle (we used to have to cover it with a towel to avoid stubbing our toes).

2. Each side has three separate zones, so you can have different temperatures for head, torso and feet. Fabulous for me - I like cold pillows and toasty toes.

3. It's really warm. We haven't set it at more than level 2 and it does provide therapeutic help for my other half who has rheumatoid arthritis. He's sleeping better than he has in ages and remarkably he's snoring less.

4. You can preheat it and never climb into a cold bed again and the preheat setting works faster than simply turning it on a while before getting between the sheets, as we did with our previous ones.

5. The lighted background on the controls goes dark after a few minutes for those of us who need it dark to sleep.

6. The pad is thick enough that you don't feel the wires.

7. It arrived very quickly and we had it when our alpha cat got pissed (literally) at me for spending a night with my new grandson. I was saving it for a holiday gift, but opened it rather than waiting for the soiled one to dry.

Cons
1. Sometimes it gets too warm and we have to turn it off, which is not a big deal.

2. There is only one remote, although it has separate controls for each side. Again, this is not an issue for us - we just keep it on the window ledge above our bed.

3. The directions instruct you to place the control box under the bed near the foot of the bed. Great, except we have a platform bed and putting it on the floor at the bottom of the bed would be a tripping hazard. We placed it at the top of the bed between the frame and the wall.

4. Sometimes, I can hear it "hum" when it cycles on. This probably would not be noticed by most people - it's just that we live in a remote and extremely quiet place. Actually, the sound helps me fall asleep!

I had bought this for my wife after a lengthy search on the internet and we've not been disappointed. The first occasion to use it came after one of our four legged pets had an accident on our beige rug. It loads easily and it's handy how the clean water and the waste water share space on the small, cartridge. It's surprisingly light weight too. We'd had a Bissell previously from about 10 years ago and that was a large, 4 wheeled item that you pulled behind you. As I recall that cleaned pretty well but all the water fittings leaked no matter how hard you tightened them. I'm glad to say that this Bissell cleans even better and there are no leaks to be seen.
This has been a good purchase for us!

Watts Premier 531130 Filter-Pure UF-3 3-Stage Water Filtration System Review

he good: Compact unit takes up very little space under the sink. Attractive faucet. Install SHOULD be easy.

The bad: The 'T' junction fitting that connects the filter to the cold water line is a piece of garbage. Throw it away. Don't even try. When I finally did get it hooked up, after running out to HD for extra o-rings, I turned on the valve to allow H2O into the filter and water started spurting out of the valve. Water was not coming out around my connections, mind you. The water was coming out around the "dial" you turn to open the flow to the filter.

I'm not a plumbing novice. In the just the last three months I've installed a toilet, a faucet, a garbage disposal and a dishwasher. This should have been the easiest of those jobs, by far (it wasn't). This valve is a tragedy.

So, my recommendation is to go ahead and get this filter. However, if you receive the plastic fitting instead of the brass, just throw it out and buy a brass fitting instead. It's the same fitting you would use to hook up a fridge/ice-maker to your cold-water line. If I'd just done that from the beginning, this would have been a 40 minute job. Instead, it took several hours over two days, including all the re-work and the two separate trips to HD.
