I was using a PUR water filter, but switched to Aquasana. The set up wasn't too hard, but you need to be sure you have a second hole (where a sprayer, soap dispenser, etc. would go) on your sink or else you cannot install it. The chrome faucet looks nicer than my bulky PUR filter, and the water tastes just as good.

One aspect about this product that I did not like is that an alarm sounds when the filters need replacing. Sometimes I'm lazy and will not feel like changing it immediately, and I don't want to be nagged with an alarm every time I want some water. A blinking red light is fine, but not an alarm. It does say in the instruction manual that batteries are included with the replacement filters, so that is convenient at least.

I looked up how much the replacement filters cost, and they are $65, which is pretty pricey. The manual said that you only have to replace them about twice a year. I drink tons of water every day, so I think I'll probably have to replace it more often.

I'm happy with my Aquasana water filter, but if you are on a budget, I'd recommend the PUR water filter.
