I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE!! These dishes are GORGEOUS and are actually NICER than they look in the photos! They have a beautiful shine to them and a nice weight. I love the shape and depth of them and the colors are rich. They have some slight imperfections that you would expect to find with stoneware, but contrary to some other reviews I have read, I think they add character to the dinnerware, rather than retract from their beauty. I was initially concerned that there might be some broken pieces as the box they came in was damaged in shipment, but they were packed so well in several other inner boxes that I think you could have dropped a CAR on them and they still would have been OK. I'm so madly in love with these dishes, I've asked Santa to bring me some matching platters and serving bowls. I HIGHLY recommend this set.
