These are really an awesome solution to make sure my dog doesn't slip going up and down the hardwood stairs. Looks great, works great.

I haven't officially taped them down to the floor yet since I'm having painters come in and don't want them to damage the velcro once the treads are lifted. However they have tiny little rubber grips on the bottom of each tread and that is keeping them fairly nicely in place without even being taped down.

I was worried about a similar product I saw by a different distributer that had really cheaply done corner seems on the backside that caused the treads to stick up - these do not have that problem.

The material in the center of the tread is a little more rough that I imagined, but I've gotten used to it and think it will be worth it as the product will be very durable.
